I have to say, regarding felons right to vote, I’m not sure I quite understand the premise behind taking away voting rights. I have no problem with people who can’t be law abiding citizens having privileges taken away, but why voting rights? If they’re supposedly going to be “rehabilitated” in our great justice system, and be released back into society, shouldn’t they get to try and choose who governs them? I see no downside in it in other words.

Regarding Trump’s “joke” in the Panhandle, if I want to listen to a bad comic, I’ll go to an amateur open mic night. When our president addresses the country, he should at least attempt to sound presidential.

Loving this. Don’t think that people trying to run a city with limited resources, standing up to a tyrant with an ego who is trying to overload the system, passes the sniff test for hypocrisy. Naturally, immigrants are going to move to these cities. So they’re already there. Trump wants to artificially overload the system with an act of political retribution. Blue mom spot on!
